NavHunter

Privacy Policy

Effective October 15, 2026

This is an interim version while our counsel reviews it. When we publish a reviewed version we will update this page and its date.

Who we are

NavHunter is a field-operations service operated by AXTRA SOLUTIONS LLC ("we", "us"). It includes the NavHunter iPhone app, the Field web app and the web Admin. Questions about this policy or your information go to mustafa@axtrasolutions.com. You can use that address even if you can't sign in.

NavHunter is a business service. Companies (our customers) invite their staff and decide their work areas and permissions. If you use NavHunter through your employer, your employer also decides how your work information is used, and its own policies and notices apply too.

Information we use

Account and access

Name, email address, username, account identifier, company and work-area memberships, role, device and installation identifiers, and session information. We use these to sign you in, check what you are allowed to see and do, manage devices and administer accounts.

Field work

Site addresses, routes and stops, visit outcomes, timestamps, notes, follow-ups and any contact details you choose to record (for example a contact name, phone number or email). If your company enables tasks or messages, we process what you send there. Please record only appropriate work information.

Location

Precise location measurements with their time and accuracy. The app uses location for route planning, showing your position on the map, navigation and confirming that a visit or address was recorded on site. Some actions take one current measurement even when route tracking is not running, and a visit can be refused if the measurement is missing, too old, too inaccurate or outside the site area.

When you start route tracking, the app can keep collecting precise location in the background; iPhone shows its background-location indicator while this happens. Pausing tracking or ending navigation stops those location updates. You can change location permission at any time in iPhone Settings, although location-dependent work may then be unavailable. Your company may show you its own location notice in the app.

Photos

You can take or choose photos for visits and addresses. We store a processed copy with the work record when you submit it. We remove embedded image metadata, but a photo can still show people, signs, addresses or contact details, so please avoid unrelated personal information.

Support and diagnostics

If you send a support report we receive its category, your optional description and technical details such as app and build version, iOS version, permission states and sync status. If diagnostics are turned on, the app uploads short crash and performance summaries (report type, time range, app version, iOS major version, device family and metric categories). You can turn diagnostics off in More > Privacy & Data.

How we use information

To provide, operate and secure the service; to support you; to keep records accurate (including reviewing data quality); to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal obligations. We may create aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify a company or a person. We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Who can see it

Access follows your company, work area and role. Authorized administrators and staff at your company can see work information according to their permissions; messages are visible only to people in the conversation. Our own staff access information only when needed to operate, secure or support the service.

We share information only with service providers that help us run NavHunter, and only for that purpose:

Maps and route calculations are served by our own servers. If you choose to open an address in Apple Maps or Google Maps, that app receives the destination and its own privacy policy applies. We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect people, our customers or the service.

On your device

The iPhone app keeps drafts, pending changes and photos so your work survives a lost connection. This local data is limited to the signed-in account and is encrypted; sign-in tokens and encryption keys are kept in the iPhone keychain. Map data and other cached content may also be stored. A saved draft is not yet on our servers, so check Sync & Storage before signing out or deleting the app. Removing the app does not delete records already sent to us.

How long we keep it

Your choices and requests

In the app you can change location and camera permissions and turn diagnostics off. In More > Privacy & Data you can ask to access or correct your information or to delete your account. The app shows a receipt when your request is received; we review each request, may need to confirm your identity, and will tell you when it is complete. You can also email us at the address above. If you use NavHunter through your employer, we may involve your company where the request concerns its work records.

Children

NavHunter is a workplace service and is not intended for anyone under 18.

Security

We use access controls, encryption in transit and on the device, and monitoring to protect information. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects you we will notify you or your company as the law requires.

Changes

We will post any change on this page with a new effective date. For material changes we will also notify company administrators in advance, and we will not apply a material change to information already collected without the required consent.
